I've spent 23 years as a lecturer in literature at Valley View Institute of Technology in Hồ Chí Minh City. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
