I've spent 27 years as a lecturer in philosophy at Luxor University in Luxor. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I never raise my voice. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Prof. Khalil: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
