I've spent eight years as a lecturer in materials science at Our Lady of Peace Polytechnic in Ahmedabad. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Prof. Kapoor: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
