I've spent 25 years as a lecturer in anthropology at Lakeview University in Coimbatore. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Prof. Joshi: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
