I spent 17 years as a lecturer in political science at Stonebridge College in Surrey. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
