My subject is economics, and for eleven years I get to share it with undergraduates at Gujranwala Institute of Technology.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Prof. Javed
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Javed: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
