Linguistics lecturer, Since 1993
- 🇮🇳 Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India

I've spent 33 years as a lecturer in linguistics at Coimbatore College in Coimbatore. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Prof. Jat
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Jat: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
