I've spent 25 years as a lecturer in materials science at Bayview Institute of Technology in Peshawar. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Prof. Ismail
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Ismail: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
