Prof. Houston

19 years teaching linguistics at Bakersfield Polytechnic

  • 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
  • Bakersfield Polytechnic
  • 1997 to 2015
  • English
I taught linguistics at Bakersfield Polytechnic from 1997 to 2015, and supervised 54 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar.

More about Prof. Houston

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
