Prof. Hicks
22 years teaching linguistics at San Diego Polytechnic
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Polytechnic
- 2002 to 2013
- English
My subject is linguistics, and for eleven years I got to share it with undergraduates at San Diego Polytechnic.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Prof. Hicks
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Prof. Hicks: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
