My subject is literature, and for 17 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Starlight College.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Prof. Haynes
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
