I've spent 32 years as a lecturer in political science at Our Lady of Peace State University in San Diego. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a nurse and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Prof. Harvey
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Harvey: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
