Prof. Harrison
Professor of astronomy, San Diego Polytechnic
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Polytechnic
- 1989 to 2009
- English
I spent 20 years as a lecturer in astronomy at San Diego Polytechnic in San Diego. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Prof. Harrison
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Harrison: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
