I've spent twelve years as a lecturer in sociology at Elmwood Institute of Technology in Newcastle upon Tyne. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Prof. Hansen: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
