I've spent 37 years as a lecturer in sociology at Elmwood Institute of Technology in Berlin. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
