I spent nine years as a lecturer in education at Meadowbank Polytechnic in Kelowna. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
What gifts mean to Prof. Gutierrez: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
