Prof. Garcia

Astronomy lecturer, 1994 to 2019

  • 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
  • Manila Polytechnic
  • 1994 to 2019
  • English, Filipino, Spanish
My subject is astronomy, and for 25 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Manila Polytechnic. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Prof. Garcia

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
