Retired astronomy lecturer
- 🇿🇦 Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa
- Ekurhuleni Institute of Technology
- 1996 to 2025

I spent 29 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Ekurhuleni Institute of Technology in Ekurhuleni. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Prof. Du Plessis: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
