I've spent 41 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Silverlake College in Coyoacán. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I fix old bicycles.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Prof. Cortés: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
