I've spent ten years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Cork University in Cork. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Prof. Collins
If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Prof. Collins: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
