I've spent 39 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Hillcrest University in Peshawar. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Prof. Cheema
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Cheema: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
