Prof. Chavez

Astronomy lecturer, Since 1993

  • 🇬🇧 Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom
  • Glasgow Institute of Technology
  • Since 1993
  • English
I teach astronomy at Glasgow Institute of Technology since 1993, and supervised 19 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I'm learning the guitar. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

More about Prof. Chavez

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.

What gifts mean to Prof. Chavez: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
