Prof. Chavez

18 years teaching civil engineering at Miami State University

I've spent 46 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Miami State University in Miami. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.

More about Prof. Chavez

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
