I've spent 13 years as a lecturer in computer science at Toronto State University in Toronto. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Prof. Carter
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Carter: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
