Prof. Carter
Professor of sociology, Parkside College
- 🇬🇧 Southampton, England, United Kingdom
- Parkside College
- 1985 to 2010
- English
My subject is sociology, and for 25 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Parkside College.
I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Prof. Carter
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Carter: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
