Prof. Burke
Professor of linguistics, Pioneer College
- 🇬🇧 Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom
- Pioneer College
- 2014 to 2024
- English
I taught linguistics at Pioneer College from 2014 to 2024, and supervised 54 dissertations along the way.
I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Burke: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
