Prof. Bekele

Sociology lecturer, 1980 to 2004

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa University
  • 1980 to 2004
  • English, Amharic
I taught sociology at Addis Ababa University from 1980 to 2004, and supervised 58 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Prof. Bekele: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
