Prof. Barnes
Professor of modern history, Los Angeles State University
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles State University
- Since 1994
- English
My subject is modern history, and for 32 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Los Angeles State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Prof. Barnes
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Barnes: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
