Prof. Bakari
18 years teaching organic chemistry at Embakasi College
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi College
- 2011 to 2021
- English, Swahili
My subject is organic chemistry, and for ten years I got to share it with undergraduates at Embakasi College.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Prof. Bakari
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Bakari: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
