I spent 24 years as a lecturer in architecture at Maple Ridge Institute of Technology in Warren. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Prof. Allen
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Prof. Allen: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
