Prof. Akter
Professor of modern history, Atlas University
- 🇧🇩 Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Atlas University
- Since 1979
- English
My subject is modern history, and for 47 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Atlas University.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Prof. Akter: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
