I've spent ten years as a lecturer in political science at Baobab State University in Awka. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Prof. Ajayi
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
