My subject is materials science, and for 34 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Los Angeles College.
I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Prof. Aguilar
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Prof. Aguilar: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
