For 32 years I was the design and technology teacher at Amritsar Secondary School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Priyanka
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Priyanka: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
