Priyanka F. Balakrishnan
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- Bengaluru Workshop
- Since 1997
- English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 1997 in Bengaluru and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Priyanka: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
