I've worked in blacksmithing from 1991 to 2013. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 590 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Priya
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Priya: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
