Priya Sharmin Akter
Teacher at Narayanganj Public School, loves geography
- 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Since 1982
- English
For 44 years I have been the geography teacher at Narayanganj Public School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
More about Priya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Priya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
