For 17 years I was the English literature teacher at Durban Technical College. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Priya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Priya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
