Priya R. Joshi
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Phoenix Workshop
- Since 2006
- English
I've worked in plumbing since 2006. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 700 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Priya
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Priya: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

You fixed our roof in 2010 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Montego Bay.
