Priya N. Dubey
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Little Pune Repairs
- Since 1984
- English, Hindi, French
I've worked in pottery since 1984. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,130 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Priya
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Priya: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
