Priya J. Awasthi

Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • 1997 to 2014
  • English, Hindi
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1997 in Mumbai and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Priya: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
