I teach political science at Thrissur Polytechnic since 1997, and supervised 53 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Priya
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Priya: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
