For eight years I was the history teacher at Madurai Public School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 170 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Priya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Priya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
