For nine years I ran the volleyball program at Quezon City Boxing Gym in Quezon City. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still think about the long bus ride home. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Hanoi.
