Martial arts coach, Johannesburg Community Club
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

I coached martial arts at Johannesburg Community Club from 1980 to 1995. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Çankaya.
