I taught linguistics at Eastgate Polytechnic from 1986 to 1996, and supervised 15 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Pranav
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Pranav: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
