For 33 years I have been the home economics teacher at Mount Pleasant Technical College. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Prakash
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
