Portia Jemima Addo

29 years teaching music in Tema

  • 🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana
  • Tema Public School
  • Since 1983
  • English
For 43 years I have been the music teacher at Tema Public School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Portia

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Portia: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
