Portia Araba Tawiah
14 years teaching environmental science in Ho
- 🇬🇭 Ho, Volta, Ghana
- 1985 to 1995
- English, Spanish
I taught environmental science at Valley View Primary School in Ho from 1985 to 1995. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Portia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
