Popy Sumaiya Barua

14 years teaching English literature in Lucknow

  • 🇮🇳 Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India
  • Lucknow Boys' School
  • Since 2013
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Popy

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
